Slashscore is an innovative platform that enables software developers to do more, become better, and showcase their contributions to the open-source community.

It’s built using the latest technology stack, which includes Next.js, Typescript, and Tailwind. It uses a flexible serverless architecture that enables it to easily adapt to the complexity of all possible integrations.

Imagine a world without open-source

Software is incorporated into many of the devices we use today, but we don't always recognize it or the people behind it because it's so much a part of our daily lives.

Steven Johnson, the author of the seminal book “Interface Culture” in his article about the “Power of Collaboration in spurring innovation”: “For starters, the Internet and the Web would instantly evaporate. Every Android smartphone, every iPad, iPhone and Mac would go dark. A massive section of our energy infrastructure would cease to function. The global stock markets would go offline for weeks, if not longer. Planes would drop out of the sky. It would be an event on the scale of a world war or a pandemic. "

Curious to know who the people behind it are?

They are the ones who usually have one of the highest-paid professions, can work from anywhere on this planet, and possess the most refined critical thinking.

Even though being a software developer is one of the most important positions in our world because the entire economy would collapse without them, in some instances, it has a bad perception.

In other words, what comes to mind when you think of a developer? Perhaps someone wearing a T-shirt with a programming-related phrase, such as "sudo", who only codes while slumped over a laptop speaking quickly in an unclear language?

This seems to be what most people think about software developers, but thankfully, it's not true.

Slashscore is here to help differentiate between good and great software developers. A great software developer does more than just code; they solve problems. They find solutions to problems and are brilliant at it, so they should be seen as such.

One of the most important activities of our time is software development, and great software developers are needed now more than ever.

Our goal is to turn the page on misconceptions and spark a revolution of great software developers—to assist them in standing out and showing their worth to the world.

What makes Slashscore unique?

While one can argue that two software developers can be extremely similar, Slashscore means bringing to light the unique aspects of each of them. When not working exclusively on private projects, software developers leave a footprint everywhere on the internet that can be measured, quantified, and used to help them showcase their work and meaningful contributions.

What is the scope of Slashscore?
